Alyssia Kirkhart (aka A.N. Hart) is a top-selling author living in North Louisiana. With three historical adult romances under her belt and two young adult fantasy/romance novels, she loves putting new spins on old stories we love and treasure. She writes about real, flawed people in desperate situations—always with a healthy dash of desire.
A South Mississippi native and alumna of Long Beach High, Alyssia graduated with a love for literature and writing. She finished her first full-length novel as a freshman in high school and discovered writing wasn’t only something she liked to do, it was something she had to do. Her interest in writing romance took flight after she met the man who would become her husband. She’s a strong believer in love conquers all and challenges herself to share this belief through her characters.
Alyssia has been the honored recipient of many writing awards, including the prestigious West Houston RWA Chapter’s Emily Contest for historical romance.
When Alyssia isn’t writing, you can find her either reading, helping others as a writing coach, public speaking, spending time with her family and fur babies or watching old episodes of Friends. She enjoys traveling, anything to do with Ireland, live music, rainy countries, Harry Potter marathons, coffee and loads of dark chocolate.
