    On social media hiatus, just me and coffee and the keyboard, working on a new series. Today, however, as @zelenskiy_official called for a global social media rally for refugees and internally displaced Ukrainians, I want to encourage you to accept his plea to step out of your offices, your homes, your schools and universities—come in the name of peace. Come with Ukrainian symbols and colors to support Ukraine, to support FREEDOM, to support LIFE. Make yourselves heard to say that PEACE matters, FREEDOM matters, UKRAINE matters. 🇺🇦💛💙🇺🇸 Slava Ukraini.
    As an American, I have woken up every morning and scrambled for my phone or laptop, searching for a modicum of reassurance that Ukraine is still strong and fighting and that President Zelenskyy is ok. Folks, in my American privilege, it’s tough for me to imagine what these human beings are going through. Last weekend, I was upset because Kroger didn’t have my coffee creamer, for pity’s sake. In Ukraine, civilians are fighting tooth and nail to protect what belongs to them. It all seems horribly surreal, yet here we are. Fighting off bullies and dictators like we did in WWII.
